Updates include replacing the high-end Sony CRT projector with a 3-chip JVC Reference Series 1080p/24 D-ILA projector and upgrading the pre-amp/processor to a DTS Master/Dolby True HD model from Outlaw Audio.

Pics to come.

Finally some pictures! I replaced the Outlaw Audio pre-amp with a Rotel RSP-1570 pre-amp. The Rotel is more detailed but a tad less warm. Overall the sound is improved. The Outlaw developed a noise problem in its front right channel along with various ground loop issues. The Rotel does not have any of these deficiencies. A great improvement! For those looking at the Outlaw 975 as a purchase; it is a great pre-amp but it is built to a price point. The sound quality (when new) is high-end HiFi but after a few years the reliability and subsequent sound quality falters. The Rotel on the other hand is built like a tank and made like a proper high-end audio piece. A great car analogy would be:

Rotel RSP-1570 = BMW E89 Z4

Outlaw Audio 975 = Mazda MX-5

Home Theater Final Specs:
~17'X12'
Typical construction techniques for US - sound leaving/transmitting outside the theater is not a major concern.
